Altrad Generation's Ladder Safe Platform is a purpose-built solution designed to provide secure and stable access into Trench Boxes and sheeted excavations. Engineered to comply with BS EN 13374:2013 (Class A), it offers temporary edge protection and a safe system for entering and exiting excavation areas. Constructed from durable powder coated mild steel, the platform features a cantilevered design for side ladder access, a secure spring-loaded self-closing gate, and an anti-slip grate platform. It is supplied fully assembled for fast site deployment and includes two sheet clamps and two box clamps, making it compatible with a range of Trench Boxes and Trench Sheets.

Levelling jacks on each side ensure stability on uneven ground, and clamping brackets allow the unit to be safely locked to the trench system. The platform is also fitted with lifting points for safe offloading and placement using certified lifting equipment. For a complete access and safety setup, the Ladder Safe Platform is often used in conjunction with Trench Guard Panels, Ground Protection Mats, and Safe Covers.
