Altrad Generation supplies ladders for hire and sale to trade and construction customers across the UK. The range covers Tuffsteel scaffolding ladders, aluminium extension ladders, platform steps and swingback steps, giving you safe and reliable access for construction, maintenance and general building work. All ladders are available through Altrad Generation's nationwide branch network.
The Tuffsteel Ladder is a heavy duty scaffold ladder built for construction sites and scaffolding access. It is certified to BS EN131 and tested to Class 1 strength criteria under Kitemark Licence No. KM34154. An aluminium zinc coating protects against corrosion, and a non sparking finish suits hazardous environments. Square non slip rungs and oversized rubber feet let you climb safely, and the ladder can be used either way up. Tuffsteel Ladders are available in lengths from 3.0m to 8.0m.
Aluminium Extension Ladders
The H7 Pro and H9 HD aluminium extension ladders feature flat oriented rungs, built in stabilisers for heights beyond 3m, and non slip rubber feet. Both use a multi section design so you can adjust the ladder to the height you need, with the H7 Pro converting between single and double section configurations. Heights range from 2.0m to 5.5m across the range, with the H9 HD built for heavier duty professional use.
Platform Steps give you a stable, self supporting base for indoor and site tasks. They hold a 150kg maximum load and feature a 410mm x 300mm platform with non slip treads at 250mm centres. They are certified to BS EN131 and BS2037 Class 1, and tested to 50,000 climbing cycles for durability. Platform Steps are available in 3 to 10 tread variants.
Swingback Steps offer platform heights from 1.0m to 3.3m on a self supporting, stable frame. Channel section stiles and box section back legs carry a 150kg maximum load, with non slip, double riveted treads at 250mm centres. Like Platform Steps, they are certified to BS EN131 and BS2037 Class 1, and tested to 50,000 climbing cycles for durability. Swingback Steps are available in 4 to 12 tread variants.
