Genlok is a fast, safe and highly versatile System Scaffolding solution used across commercial construction, industrial maintenance and specialist access applications. The defining feature is its 360° node point, a single hammer blow locks up to four components simultaneously, keeping erection times low and productivity high on even the most demanding sites.

Fully galvanised for appearance and performance, Genlok system scaffold works with both standard 38mm Scaffold Boards and the Omega batten platform system, giving contractors the flexibility to configure the right working platform for every situation.

Why Genlok?

Single Hammer Blow Assembly

Node points are spaced at 500mm intervals on all standards. At each node, up to four components can be fastened in a single hammer blow, significantly reducing erection time without compromising structural integrity.

Versatile Platform Widths

Genlok can be supplied with additional Inside Boards, one inside board gives a full six-board wide platform. For additional working platforms closest to the building, two- and three-board configurations using Hop-Up Brackets and OMEGA Board Stage Brackets can be supplied in both scaffold board and Omega Batten System formats.

True 360° Flexibility

The 360° node point allows ledgers and bracing to be located at the same level, and ledgers to be rotated within the pocket. This makes Genlok the modular scaffold system of choice for circular structures and curved applications where traditional tube and fitting would be slow and complex.

Industrial and Oil & Gas Capability

Altrad Generation has developed specific Genlok components for use in pipe racks, modules and around fractionation columns. These purpose-built parts reduce overall component count and minimise the risk of dropped objects, a critical safety consideration in live industrial environments.

System Configurations

Genlok's modular scaffold system can be configured to build:

Facade Scaffolds

Full working lifts with correct handrail heights and clear working platforms throughout. Genlok can function independently or integrate with other Genlok facade scaffolds.

Loading Towers

Constructed from a 2.5m square bay using 1.5m or 2m lifts, tied to the main structure at every leg and every lift. Towers can be built progressively with the working lift to match the bricklayer's progress, or with a loading platform at every other lift. Platforms may be overboarded to cover all gaps and allow wheels or skates to be used. Only one platform may be loaded at any time.

Staircase Towers

Additional components can be supplied to create Genlok Staircase Towers.

Birdcage Scaffolds

Full overhead access platforms for interior, ceiling-level and soffit work.

Circular Structures

The 360° node pocket allows ledgers to rotate freely, making Genlok well suited to columns, tanks, silos and any curved structure.

Mobile Towers

Genlok can be fitted with internal spigot rubber castors to create mobile towers.
