Scaffold Netting
Altrad Generation's fine mesh debris netting is available in a range of colours in 2m x 50m and 3m x 50m sizes. The netting is designed to contain dust, aggregate and small materials within the scaffold, protecting workers and the public from falling debris. A flame retardant version is also available. Altrad Generation's scaffolding netting meets and exceeds all relevant EN and BS Standards, including BS EN 1263-1, BS8093:1991 and BS 7955:1999, and conforms with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Netting is fixed using cable ties or Flexitie with a minimum 300mm overlap at all joints.
Scaffold Sheeting
Powerclad: Powerclad Lite provides effective weather protection with woven reinforcement and a waterproof coating. It is available in five widths from 2.0m to 3.75m and includes digital printing for branding. Powerclad Flame Retardant Sheeting offers the same weather protection and containment, certified to BS 5867 Part 2B and BS 476 Part 12C, with flame retardant accreditation to LPS 1215 and LPS 1207. Both Powerclad options are 170gsm.
Monarflex: Scaffband is suitable for short-term projects up to a maximum of six months, conforming to BS 7955:1999 and BS 8410:2007. Scaffband Flamesafe uses a three-ply construction with LDPE outer layers and a multifilament PET grid core, certified to LPS1215. Super T Plus is designed for long-term projects exceeding twelve months, conforming to BS7955:1999 and BS8410:2007, with a Firesmart option available.
Specialist Sheeting: Filter sheeting is a closely woven, air permeable mesh that contains debris and dust. It is particularly recommended for exposed locations with a high risk of wind acceleration, and is flame retardant to BS476 Part 12C. Vented sheeting provides a more open weave for higher air permeability and is also suitable for use as perimeter mesh fencing, reducing wind forces on the fence. It is available in black for outdoor events and can be printed for corporate branding. Acoustic noise barrier sheeting provides measurable noise reduction alongside thermal insulation and sound absorption, and is also available to fit perimeter fence panels. Insulated sheeting incorporates cellular air cells for thermal insulation and controlled atmospheres, and is widely used on projects in low temperatures or inclement weather.
Custom Printing
Digi-Wrap printing wraps any building in a full colour custom image or company message, with a production time of two to three weeks and a minimum surface life of six months. Sections can be replaced individually if damaged. Flexoprint applies a repeat logo in standard one or two colour printing on sheeting and mesh, with a minimum order of 30 rolls. Digiprint allows full colour large logo printing with no minimum order and is also available for very large PVC building wraps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Should scaffolding have netting?
A. Scaffold netting is used to protect workers, pedestrians and adjacent structures from falling tools, materials and debris. Whether it is required on a specific project depends on the site-specific risk assessment and the nature of the work being carried out. Contact your local Altrad Generation branch for advice on the right scaffold netting or debris netting for your site.
Q. What is the difference between scaffold netting and scaffold sheeting?
A. Scaffold netting, also known as debris netting, is a fine mesh product designed to contain dust, aggregate and small materials within the scaffold. Scaffold sheeting is a reinforced product that provides weather protection against rain, wind and other conditions as well as containing debris. Both scaffolding netting and scaffold sheeting are available from Altrad Generation, with flame retardant options across both ranges.
Q. What standard does scaffold netting comply with?
A. Altrad Generation's fine mesh debris netting meets and exceeds all relevant EN and BS Standards. The compliance standards include BS EN 1263-1, BS8093:1991 and BS 7955:1999. The netting also conforms with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
