The JVB Backhoe Manhole Box from Altrad Generation is a lightweight four-sided excavation system designed for the safe installation of pre-cast manhole rings. With integral end return panels providing structural support at the corners, the JVB delivers a fully enclosed working area below ground without the need for separate closing panels.

Available in three sizes, the 2m (808kg), 2.5m (875kg), and 3m (975kg), each box features 60mm thick panels, 1200mm clearance between the lower strut, and is rated to a Safe Working Load of 20kN/m2. A pin and clip assembly system allows fast, straightforward installation using the Dig and Push method.

Closing panels and top boxes are available to increase the maximum working depth to 3000mm. Manhole Safety Platforms are available as optional additions. The JVB Backhoe Manhole Box is available for hire and purchase from Altrad Generation branches across the UK and Ireland.
