The Timber Toe Board is a 150mm high scaffold toe board and a Futuro Ring System component, with galvanised steel fixing plates at either end for a secure connection to your scaffold structure. Fitted along the base of a working platform, this toe board stops tools, materials and debris from falling onto people below. It is available in eight lengths, from 0.42m up to 3.07m, so you can fit the right size to almost any Futuro Ring System scaffold bay.

Toe boards fall under the collective edge protection duty in the Work at Height Regulations 2005, so they are a legal requirement wherever people or materials are at risk of falling from height. The regulations require toe boards to be suitable and sufficient, and HSE guidance treats a minimum height of 100mm as acceptable under that test. Every board in this range is built to a height of 150mm, with galvanised steel fixing plates at either end for a secure connection to your scaffold. You may also hear this component called kickboard scaffolding, a term some suppliers and sites use interchangeably with toe board.

Fitting a toe board protects everyone working below a platform, stopping dropped tools and materials before they become a hazard. The galvanised steel fixing plates on each end of the Timber Toe Board give you a stable connection to your Futuro Ring System scaffold, and pairing the board with the Toe Board Bracket Fitting, part of the same Futuro Ring System range, gives you an even more permanent and secure fixing by hooking over the toe board and attaching to the standards. With eight length options available, from short infill pieces to full 3.07m boards, you can specify the exact toe board your Futuro Ring System scaffold layout needs without cutting or adapting on site.
