Every loading bay scaffold needs a gate for its opening. The 'M' Loading Bay Gate is one of the options in Altrad Generation's Loading Bay Gates range, built for use with tube and fittings and fitting neatly into a 7 board loading bay.

Rear guardrails must be fitted to comply with TG20 and BS EN 13374, so make sure these are in place before the gate goes into service. The frame itself is built from box section and round tube in mild steel, fully braced with 6mm flat bar.

The gate requires a height of 1850mm, excluding scaffold fittings, and covers a loading depth of 1500mm, so check these dimensions against your scaffold loading bay before you order. It's sold as an arm and a gate separately, and you'll need additional fittings to secure it in place. If you're working with a Genlok system scaffold instead of tube and fittings, the Genlok Up and Over Gate is designed for that setup.
