Weight

The Extendable Hop Up Bracket is a scaffolding bracket built for independent scaffolds and birdcages. It creates a two or three board intermediate platform, with the inside platform able to move up and down independently of the main lifts. Made from steel, it weighs 6.55kg.

A hop up scaffold platform gives your team a working level between full lifts, and this bracket is designed for exactly that. The scaffold design should limit the load on the inside platform to 0.75 kN per square metre, and the bracket is intended for light access rather than storing materials. Because it creates the platform quickly, it saves labour compared with building a full extra lift.

The bracket fits Readylok Scaffold Transoms as well as standard Scaffold Tube and Scaffold Fittings, so you can add it wherever your scaffold layout already has transoms in place. When not in use, retract the extension piece and secure it with the bolt for storage and transport.
