Our Northampton branch supplied over 700 tons of scaffolding equipment for the £116 million Eddington Development project in Cambridge, a mixed development of timber framed housing and associated facilities.
Half a million foot of scaffold tube was supplied in conjunction with 5 and 4 Board Readylok, XT Intermediate Transoms and XT 2+1 Hop-up brackets which helped to systemise the tube and fitting and reduce the build time of the scaffold as this was a time critical project
The Eddington Development, a collaboration with the University of Cambridge, aims to construct 373 homes in north-west Cambridge. This project is part of a larger North-West Cambridge masterplan, which will eventually include 3,000 homes, 2,000 student beds, substantial employment space, and retail areas by 2030.
Beyond housing, the development will feature various communal facilities, including a pavilion, gym, yoga studio, private dining room, bike cafe, games room, cinema, and co-working space.
