Types of Q-Clamps
The range covers a wide variety of connection types and tube sizes. The following are the main types available.
Tee fittings include the Short Tee (101-4) and Long Tee (104-4) for standard branch connections, the Three Way Through (116-4) which provides a three-socket through connection, and the Adjustable Tee (129-4) for adjustable angle tee connections.
Elbow and corner fittings include the 90 Degree 2-Way Elbow (125-4) for standard right-angle corners, the Acute Angle Elbow (123-4) which covers connections between 40 and 70 degrees, the 3-Way 90 Degree Elbow (128-4) for three-socket elbow joints, and the 2-Way Corner Inline fitting (127-4).
Cross fittings include the 4-Way Cross (126-4), the Adjustable Cross (130-4), and the 2 Socket Cross (119-4) to suit different cross-connection requirements.
Wall and floor fixings include the Wall Plate (131-4) for mounting tube to a wall or surface, the Base Plate Flange (132-4) for floor-mounted posts, and the Stop End (133-4) for capping tube run ends.

Q Clamp Applications
Q-Clamps are galvanised key clamp tube fittings that connect scaffold tubes without welding. You can use them to build handrail systems, guardrails, industrial racking, and structural tubular frameworks. They are manufactured from galvanised blackheart malleable iron to BS6681, Grade B32-10, with galvanising to BS EN 1461:1999. The range also carries TÜV RHEINLAND Product Safety Type Approval (Cert No: B061161671001). All fittings are sized for 48.3mm OD scaffold tube and are designed for use with both 3.2mm and 4.0mm wall thickness scaffold tube.

A. Yes. Altrad Generation Q-Clamps are manufactured from galvanised blackheart malleable iron to BS6681, Grade B32-10. Galvanising meets BS EN 1461:1999.
