Kwikstage Access, also known as quick stage is a scaffold system designed for safe and secure access on construction sites. It uses a small number of standard components such as Kwikstage Standards which connect using captive wedge connections, and the joints are self locating. This means no transverse bracing is required and the system goes up quickly.
The range includes components such as Steelstage, Kwikguard and Stairway Units, as well as a full set of loading tower accessories, so you can configure the system to suit any access task on site. Kwikstage scaffolding is available across Ireland from Altrad Generation.

Key Features
No loose fittings - The captive connector design means fewer losses and higher productivity compared to traditional tube and fitting scaffold. There are no loose parts to misplace during storage or on site.
Few basic components - The system contains just a few standard units that remain compact. With no loose fittings, storage and transportation are straightforward and the risk of damage is reduced.
Simple to maintain - Most connections use wedge fixings, which are simple to use and built to last. This leads to a longer product life and keeps your service costs to a minimum.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is quick stage scaffolding?
A. Quick stage scaffolding, also known as kwikstage scaffolding, is a modular access system made up of a small number of standard components. Ledgers and transoms fix to vertical standards using captive wedge connections, and each joint is self locating. This eliminates the need for transverse bracing and allows the system to go up quickly. Accessories including handrails, board stage brackets, staircase towers and loading bays mean you can configure the system to suit a wide range of access requirements.
Q. What can Kwikstage scaffolding be used for?
A. Kwikstage scaffolding is suited to a wide range of access tasks on construction sites. These include general purpose and inspection access for light or heavy duty work, perimeter scaffold, birdcage scaffold, steel fixing and concreting access, bridging scaffold, roof edge protection, static towers, mobile towers, loading platforms and stairway towers.
Q. How do you set up quick stage scaffolding?
A. Kwikstage Access is designed for fast erection on site. Ledgers and transoms connect to the vertical standards using captive wedge connections. Each joint is self locating, which guides each component into position. This design keeps erection times and costs to a minimum, even for less experienced workers on site.
