Impeccable occupational health and safety performance is paramount across Actavo, which is why we’re delighted to have been recognised with the achievement of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) President’s Award across our Structural and Industrial Divisions.
Following 12 consecutive RoSPA Gold awards, our new Presidential standard is a reflection of our health and safety performance over the past twelve years across Actavo | Industrial Division and Actavo | Structural Division, which includes Actavo | Hire & Sales Solutions, Actavo | Building Solutions, Actavo | Events and Actavo Direct.
Keeping our team and the public safe will always be our top priority. It gets harder year-on-year to maintain our record and we try to be consistently vigilant to prevent complacency. As part of our commitment to deliver world-class services, all our team members receive meticulous health and safety training – both theoretical and practical. Our entire company is focused on zero harm.
To determine our new standard, we were assessed on our accident records, as well as our health and safety management systems. The RoSPA award scheme is one of the largest and longest-running programmes of its kind. Recognising an organisation’s commitment to preventing accidents and ill-health at work, companies are awarded for having stringent health and safety management systems, best practice, leadership and workplace involvement across the UK and overseas.
To ensure the welfare of everyone at Actavo, as well as our clients’ and contractors’ teams, Actavo instils stringent working practices into the core of its business. Our integrated SHEQ (safety, health, environment and quality) management system means everyone works to the same standards in terms of safety at work.
Our RoSPA President’s Award belongs to the team for their unwavering commitment to working safely despite relentless challenges.
Celebrating a diamond anniversary, the RoSPA awards continue to present highly-regarded and sought-after accolades to businesses and organisations which have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.Back to News Posts
