Euan Howie, aged 7, wants to be a builder when he grows up - so much so that top of his Christmas list wasn’t a toy car, but pedestrian barriers. Hearing about Euan’s dedication from Lorna Howie, his mum, building equipment specialists, Actavo, wanted to give the construction-crazed little boy a gift to remember. Actavo’s team pulled together a goodie bag, packed with all the essentials a future builder needs.
Euan, from Kilmarnock, received a very special surprise on Christmas morning 2015 when he opened Actavo’s present complete with bump cap, ear defenders, gloves, a water bottle and flask - all because his mother brought his barriers on the company’s online portal, ActavoDirect.com.
Of course, Euan was delighted with his bonus gifts. His mum, Lorna Howie, says: “Euan would really love to be a builder when he grows up and so you can imagine how over the moon he was with all the extras from Actavo. He couldn’t wait to get playing.”
Roger Hastie, director of Actavo | Structural Division, says, “We are always looking out for new talent! It is great to see someone as young as Euan taking such an interest in the industry and we hope our little gift inspires him to look into a career in construction when he’s a bit older.”
Actavo is the leading supplier of building equipment for hire and sale with branches across the UK and Ireland.Back to News Posts
